IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ENTERING TRNC WITHOUT A STUDENT PERMIT

Dear Students,

The Ministry of Interior, Department of Immigration has implemented a special regulation to prevent any inconvenience for students who have entered or exited the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Due to the high volume of student permit applications and delayed laboratory appointments, it has been determined that some university students have traveled or exited without completing their student permit procedures. The following regulations apply to affected students:

📌 1. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR STUDENTS ENTERING TRNC

• Students who are enrolled in the relevant programs of universities for the 2024-2025 Academic Year but have not yet completed their student permit procedures will be allowed to enter TRNC until 30 June 2025.
• This entry permit will be granted only once.
• Students entering TRNC must complete their student permit procedures to legally remain in the country.

📌 2. STUDENTS WHO FAIL TO OBTAIN A STUDENT PERMIT

• Students who do not complete their student permit by 30 September 2025, will be required to leave TRNC.
• As of the specified date, individuals who do not hold a student permit will not be allowed to stay in TRNC.

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR STUDENTS

✅ Students entering TRNC must complete their student permit procedures within shortest time.
✅ After entering the country, make sure you complete the required procedures through the student portal to obtain your student permit.
✅ To avoid penalties, all students must obtain their student permit by 30 September 2025.
